Air Conditiner Servicing, Repair If You Are In Dubai
AC servicing recommendation for our customers are always acute and straight forward. However, many people struggle on the decision making about what to do with their air conditioning system. We hope that the following simple questions and answers will help them think through.
1- Cleaning — How long does you turn on the air conditioning daily? If 8 hours or less, we recommend quarterly servicing; normally home use. If 8 to 12 hours and more than 12 hours, we recommend bi-monthly and monthly servicing; normally commercial and industrial use. If you never had the AC system cleaned for a long time, we recommend you booked a normal servicing with us to have the condition check and advise before we proceed.
2- Common Problem — AC leaking, AC icing or AC not cold? Mostly can recover by thorough cleaning like chemical wash or chemical overhaul, but also could be a repair issue. Please book an AC inspection appointment to further identify the real issue.
3- Repair — Are your air conditioning system still under warranty? If not sure, please contact the AC brand customer service or sales company that sold you the AC system to have them checked. This can prevent you for paying the extra money to get the air con fixed if it is done by none of the above parties.
4- Buying — Do not buy an AC system without installation package. The installation cost can be even higher than the AC system itself. Do not expect AC installation cost to be lower if you buy them separately. There will also be a few warranty issues.
. The AC brand company may acknowledge the bought date instead of the installation date as the AC warranty start date. Please ensure the acknowledgement of the AC warranty start date from the AC brand company.
. If there is an AC failure, either the AC brand may charge you where there is an installation issue or the AC installation company may charge you on the AC parts issue. As you did not bought the AC system from them, they cannot claim from the AC brand company. This is due to some AC brand company already have their own technician team or servicing agent, so they will not accept the claim from others than their own agent.

Water Pump Issues
Water pump is not doing automatic
You have a Water pump that is not doing automatically off/on, even though all the water flow points are closed. How the problem to be solved? There are many things to be understood for your convenience.

How the Water pump Works.
One of the water pump function is, it switches on automatically if one or more draw-off points are on and flowing water (e.g. taps, washbasins, toilets, washing machines, Dishwasher etc...)
And It switches off when all water flow points are closed.
The pressure kit/switch is controlling the automatic activation & deactivation of the water pump. The pressure switch/Kit depend on the type of Water Pump, this can be a pressure switch, a Press control, or an 'active' system. These systems only measure the pressure in the pipes between which the pump has been placed. When one or more draw-off points are on, the pressure will go down in the pressure gage, and the pump will run.
However, what do you need to do if the booster pump continues running / operating when all draw-off points are closed?
Causes and related solutions
1. Air leaks into the system.
2. No non-return valve or foot valve attached to the suction side or broken and leaking.
If your Pump is continues running, then there must be an air leak in the water pump or somewhere in the water flow unites or pipes. The water pump unable to build up full pressure, and therefore cannot reach its deactivation pressure level.
Or the non-return valve or foot valve attached to the suction side or broken, The Water is not standing in the suction side pipe and the water pump is unable to build the pressure to activate the pressure switches or kit. As result the water pump is continues running.
Solution: check all the water using points /pipe and fix them. Check non-return valve or foot valve and fix it.

1. Filter Cleaning
A dirty can affect the air quality / quantity and can make it slower across evaporator/cooling coil. Slow air pressure can lower refrigerant temperatures.
2. Capacitors
A Capacitor if its for compressor, outdoor fan motor or for indoor blower motor, is essentially like battery. Most of the customer compliant about it.
3. Contractor
A contractor in outdoor unit is like magnetic switch that connect the indoor unit to the outdoor unit when it receives a message from the indoor PCB. Sometime it gets break because of power load or compressor load.
4. Compressor
Outdoor unit compressor is like a heart for the hole AC unit that pumping the refrigerant from the outdoor to the indoor through the capillary. When the refrigerant crosses the capillary, it becomes liquid from the refrigerant form.
5. Refrigerant Leaks
These can occur at any time and often present themselves prematurely due to improper start-up practices.
6. Drain clogs
A tray is installed down the Evaporator/cooling coil to cover the humidity water and drain it through the drain pipe. Some time it gets block in result the water will be dripping from the AC.
7. Outdoor Fan Motor
An outdoor fan motor is installed in outdoor unit to keep the compressor & outdoor condenser cold. If fan motor is not in working condition then compressor will be overheating.
8. Evaporator Coils
The Evaporator Coils/Cooling Coil is parts that is what traps the water vapor in the air and condenses it. It's made of copper and aluminum. this part will eventually fail because of these two facts. One when it gets block because of the dust, second it becomes rusty because of high humidity.
9. Condenser Coils
Condenser Coils/outdoor Condenser Coils is the part that convert the refrigerant form the liquid form to the gas form. The condenser coil can fail from the outside dust and refrigerant leak.
10. Thermostat
The Thermostat is a off/on switch for an air conditioner unit with that the air conditioner can be operate the way you want/to set the temperature/to check the room temperature.
